Etawah (UP), June 11 (FN Agency) Samajwadi Party (SP) President Akhilesh Yadav on Tuesday said now the only goal of his party is to form the government by wiping out the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in the 2027 elections in Uttar Pradesh, for which, the workers need to start preparing from now itself.Addressing his workers at the party office in Saifai, Akhilesh said the public has supported all of us on the issue of changing the Constitution, due to which SP has become the third-largest party in the country with such a huge public mandate. “Though the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) has formed the government at the centre, but despite this, happiness is not visible on their faces,” he said. He said instead of NDA, if the INDI alliance government was formed then it is certain that something new would have happened in the country. “If the INDI Alliance government was formed, the public would have got some new information and the alliance would have given something new to the countrymen. The countrymen are not going to get anything new from the newly formed NDA government at the centre,” he said. He said that the BJP leaders have become completely disappointed after losing for the first time, whereas the Samajwadis have not shown any disappointment even after witnessing several defeats.
The SP Chief said that if the victory streak of the Samajwadis continues like this, then the BJP will have to face a crushing defeat in the UP Assembly elections in 2027. Later while talking to the journalists, he said while people were not coming out of their houses in the scorching heat, the SP workers have done a great job of strengthening the party, and many congratulations and best wishes to all of them. “Due to these hardworking workers of SP, the party has achieved a historic victory in UP,” he said.In response to a question related to the continuing violence in Manipur for a year, Akhilesh said that the government should ensure the safety and protection of the people in Manipur on priority.He said that SP will strongly raise the issues of the people in the House when the Parliament session begins.On the question of government jobs being released by the Yogi government, Akhilesh said that it is good that the government has started doing some work for the public. “It would have been better if the central government had ended the Agniveer scheme with immediate effect and the government jobs which have not been released yet should also be released and the unemployed should be given jobs. The process of reservation in government jobs should be followed with transparency,” he said.
