Ballia, Dec 19 (Agency) Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister and veteran BJP leader Shivraj Singh Chouhan on Sunday said that Uttar Pradesh is the engine of the country and for its development, ‘double engine’ government of Modi-Yogi is necessary. Kick starting Bhartiya Janata Party’s ‘Jan Vishwas Yatra’ from here, Shivraj Singh said, “It is the result of Modi and Yogi team that UP has become a developed state with such a fast pace. I have faith that under the leadership of PM Narendra Modi and UP CM Yogi Adityanath, the state will turn into the most developed state, not only in the country, but the entire world.” BJP state president Swatnatra Dev Singh, minister in Yogi government Upendra Tiwari, Dara Singh Chauhan and Anand Swaroop Shukla were also present on the occasion.
The MP CM termed UP as the state having the biggest economy in the world. Attacking the Congress, he said, “The party never remembered revolutionaries and freedom fighters, who sacrificed everything for the independence of the country. It is Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who is remembering the freedom fighters and revolutionaries.” Calling PM a divine gift, Shivraj said that Narendra Modi has become the Prime Minister of the country to rid ‘Bharat’ from misdeeds and iniquity. Underlining nepotism in Congress and Samajwadi Party, he said that BJP has come into power to eradicate politics of dynasties. Terming SP chief Akhilesh Yadav as ‘babua’, he said that babua’s cycle has deflated and those who can repair it are behind the bars. The MP CM said that those, who sow the crop of corruption, are out again to cheat the people, but this time people will not fall to their trap. Attacking former Congress president Rahul Gandhi, he said that Rahul, who earlier used to call Hindutva as communal, is now guising as a Hindu. He is visiting temples and Maths with a ‘tripund’ on his forehead and his sister Priyanka Gandhi is taking dip in Ganga. He said that Hindutva means ‘Vasudhev Kutumbakam’ (the world is one family), which BJP defines.
