New Delhi, May 21 (Agency) Taking a jibe at Union Home Minister Amit Shah over his ‘supporters in Pakistan’ remarks against the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Tuesday advised the senior BJP leader not to “abuse the public” as he has not yet become the Prime Minister. Kejriwal, the National Convenor of AAP, while speaking to the media, said: “You (Amit Shah) have not even become the PM yet and you have become so arrogant. For your information, let me tell you that you are not becoming PM because on June 4 people are not forming the BJP government.” “Control your ego a little and do not abuse the public. Your enmity is with me, you can abuse me. But if you abuse the people of the country, then no one is going to tolerate it,” Kejriwal added. “The people of Delhi have formed the government by giving us 62 seats, 56% vote share, are the people of Delhi Pakistanis?
The people of Punjab have formed the government by giving us 92 out of 117 seats, are the people of Punjab Pakistanis? The people of Gujarat gave us 14% votes, are the people of Gujarat also Pakistanis? The people of Goa gave us love, trust, are the people of Goa also Pakistanis?,” Kejriwal posed Kejriwa, following Shah’s remarks that AAP gets support from Pakistan. Kejriwal said his party’s representatives were elected in Panchayat and Municipality elections, in Uttar Pradesh, Assam, Madhya Pradesh and many other parts of the country. “Are all the people of this country Pakistanis? What are you saying,” he added.
The CM said as the elections are progressing, it is becoming clear that on June 4 the Narendra Modi government will be defeated and the INDI alliance will come to power. He predicted the INDI alliance would get more than 300 seats on its own and give a clean and stable government to the country. On Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s visit to Delhi for a public rally, Kejriwal said Yogi should duel with Modi and Shah, who have “made a plan” to remove him from the helm in UP. “Yogi ji your real enemies are sitting in your party. Prime Minister and Amit Shah have made a complete plan to remove you from the chair in Uttar Pradesh. You should deal with them, why are you abusing Kejriwal in vain.”
