Hamirpur (HP), June 20 (FN Agency) Dharamendra Pradhan, the Union Education-cum-Skill development and Entrepreneurship minister exhorted the party cadre to remain vigilant from the evil designs of the opposition parties that were bent upon harming the cause of the nation by trying to exploit the youth against the ruling party. Nearly 6,300 booth palaks, booth presidents, and Panna pramukhs of the Hamirpur parliamentary constituency, consisting of seventeen assembly segments are taking part in this sammelan. Union Information-cum-broadcasting Minister-cum-local MP, and former Chief Minister, PK Dhumal and other leaders of the party are taking part in the day-long sammelan. While addressing a massive gathering of the party workers namely “Tridev” at the police ground here Monday , he said since Congress party had lost its mass base it was once again trying to come to power by exploiting the sentiments of the common man. He said workers should fan out in masses and tell them that whatever the Congress people and other opposition people were saying was not true and against their interests. He said the BJP was the only party in the world that had its mass base and was formed after a long fight by the workers. It was a well knit organization and even the super World powers consider the BJP as the most disciplined and democratically elected organization in the world. Pradhan appealed to the Tridev’s not to sit silently and work in their respective areas for achieving the Mission repeat 2022 with effectiveness.
He said they should concentrate on their booths and forget about the nearby booths because if their booths were strong, the party would be able to win the elections with ease. The BJP leader said the workers should understand that whatever the decision the central government was taking, those were in the interest of the common people. However, opposition parties were not relishing those as they felt that if people found these decisions in their interests, they would forget other parties forever and the existence of those parties would be no more. He justified the Agnipath scheme of recruitment in the Indian army as pro-youth, adding that its opposition was not in the interest of the youth of India. He said after serving in the army for four years, these youth would be accommodated in other forces and organizations with many army facilities being given to them as per the decision of the Indian forces. Speaking on occasion, Anurag Thakur, Union Information –cum Broadcasting Minister-cum-local MP said Hamirpur was the hub of the BJP activities and the party would make a clean sweep of seats in the coming Vidhan sabha elections in the state. But for this, the workers would have to remain united and vigilant. He said that even a small mistake or error could create problems for the party and that thing should not be allowed. He gave a clarion call to the party cadre to fan out in the masses and expose the evil designs of the Congress party and other opposition parties that were bent upon trying to oppose all the positives of the BJP led double engine governments only to return to power. Thakur said the BJP was the party of the masses and its cadre was strong and well-knit.
He said people of the state knew who their benefactor was and that was why they used to have faith in the BJP and its policies. HP Chief Minister, Jai Ram Thakur on this occasion said the time had come when we should expose the Congress party and other non BJP parties for trying to harm the cause of the nation by launching agitations against the BJP governments in India. Thakur said these parties had lost faith in the masses and that was why they were trying to create ruckus all over India to return to power but their designs would not materialize as people knew them. The chief minister gave a clarion call to the people to join hands with the BJP and save them from the evil designs of the Congress party that had looted the nation for years together. The BJP leader said the double engine governments of the BJP had done a lot for the well being and welfare of the masses and would continue to work on those lines. The BJP leader exhorted the people to have faith in the BJP and vote for the BJP candidates in the coming elections to allow the BJP to achieve its Mission repeat 2022 with a grand success. He gave details of the people oriented works performed by the BJP led state government for the people of the state in general and Hamirpur Parliamentary constituency in particular. On this occasion, many other leaders of the party also spoke and gave their views to the party workers and advised them to remain vigilant and united.
