Lucknow, Nov 9 (Agency) As part of its preparations for the assembly elections, Uttar Pradesh Congress has decided to recruit District Spokesperson and Coordinator from among the people. The party on Tuesday launched ‘Bane UP Ki Awaaz’ programme that will help more people to join the party and raise their district’s issues. Party’s media coordinator Naseemuddin Siddiqui told reporters that people were impressed by the struggle of party general secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra and the party’s fight against injustice and atrocities. The media department of Congress wants to provide a medium to these voices, for which the “Bane UP ki Awaaz” program has been launched.
Those who want to raise the voice of their district by joining the party can now raise their voice by becoming the spokesperson of the party by fulfilling the standards set under this campaign, the party said. The basis of selection will be on merit, for which district-wise examination and interview will be conducted on scheduled dates. He said the committee of the district in-charge secretary, district and city president, and state spokesperson would ensure the organization and operation of all programs. The examination will be conducted in the districts of Lucknow division, which will start from Unnao on November 15, while in Lucknow on November 16, Sitapur on November 17, Hardoi on November 18, Lakhimpur on November 19, and Rae Bareli on November 20.
