Congress has a great contribution in India’s development: Chavan

New Delhi, Jan 14 (Agency) Maharashtra State former Chief Minister Ashok Chavan on Saturday said that the Congress has made a great contribution in the construction of India and slammed the opponents. He was speaking at the conclusion of the state level training camp organized at Kumbhefal near here on behalf of the Congress Seva Dal. He said that opponents continue making accusations and criticisms that “What did the Congress do in the last 70 years? Ask the forefathers of Congress what they did?.”

On this occasion, West Division Coordinator and Congress Seva Dal Secretary Chandra Prakash Vajpayee, All India Congress Seva Dal Secretary Lalji Mishra, Congress Seva Dal State President Vilas Autade, Ex-MLA Keshavrao Autade, Prakash Mugdia, Ex-MLA Namdevrao Pawar, Ex-Minister Anil Patel, Ravindra Kale, Sandeep Bourse. Congress District President Dr. Kalyan Kale, among several others were present. Speaking further Mr Chavan said that there are burning issues in Maharashtra and the role of the Congress Seva Dal in this is to work diligently. Former Chief Minister drew attention to the achievements of the Congress in 70 years of Desh Ka, Maharashtra Ka Sahi Bal Seva Dal. The three-day training camp was inaugurated by former Chief Minister Prithviraj Chavan. In the IPL match, the opening batsman is important, so if the start is good, the responsibility of the end is equally important,said Mr Chavan.

In this training camp, former MLA Ramhari Rupanwar, Amar Khanapurkar Ratnakar Mahajan, agriculture expert, meteorologist Punjabrao Dakh also guided. Maharashtra Seva Dal Secretary Anil Mankape, Manish Nemade, Congress Seva Dal District President Gyandev Thombre, City President Altaf Patel among others worked hard to make success the traning camp. Seva Dal activists from across the state were guided on booth management, propaganda and dissemination, leadership development, contribution of Congress party in Indian development, information about government schemes, effective use of social media, agricultural policy, Hath Se Hath Jodo campaign and social work during the traning camp.
