Cong madly lusting to wrest power in MP: PM Modi

Khandwa (MP), Nov 5 (Agency) Comparing the “power-hungry, selfish and conspiratorial” Congress’ mentality with the divide-and-rule policy of the colonial era, Prime Minister Narendra Modi alleged on Sunday that the party members are “writhing and running around in the manner of insane persons” to form a government in Madhya Pradesh. Addressing a rally in this district headquarters of the election-bound state, the visiting dignitary averred, “The Congress desires to convert Madhya Pradesh into its ATM. In order to prepare for the general election, tractor-loads of loot comprise the motive. Should this opportunity and permission be granted to them? The electorate must demolish this destructive mindset forever!” The Congress is away from the central saddle for a decade therefore it eyes every state greedily, the Prime Minister emphasised and then quipped that in Congress-ruled states a “competition goes on as to who will gobble up a greater amount – the Chief Minister or his deputy!

The Congress is synonymous with not only applying permanent brakes on the development vehicle but also placing it in reverse gear.” That party’s regimes are only involved in internal wrangling and have no time whatsoever for the masses as is evidenced in Rajasthan and Karnataka, Mr Modi underlined, adding that in the latter state the CM himself does not know how long he will continue in office. “Wherever the Congress assumes the reins; we observe the thriving of arrogance, mafia, corruption and appeasement. We never imagined that in Bharat someone could slash an individual’s throat in public and then celebrate the incident as happened in Rajasthan. The Congress had made Madhya Pradesh degenerate into a bimaru state. Therefore, beware of that party,” he cautioned.
