New Delhi, Dec 27 (FN Agency) The Congress on Tuesday appointed observers for different states for the party’s forthcoming ‘Haath Se Haat Jodo Abhiyan’ across the country. According to a communique issued by the Congress general secretary in-charge Organisations KC Venugopal, the party has appointed 26 observers for the successful planning and implementation of the campaign, which will be a follow activity after the Bharat Jodo Yatra-led by MP Rahul Gandhi.
The party appointed Ranjeet Ranjan as observer of Assam and V Narayanasmy for other Northeastern states, Madan Mohan Jha for Delhi, Uttam Kumar Reddy for Andhra Pradesh and Deepender Hooda for Uttar Pradesh, as per the statement. Among the appointed members also include PL Punia for Mumbai, Subodh Kant Sahai for Bihar and Pramod Tiwari for Madhya Pradesh. Earlier this month, the Congress announced a massive campaign , ‘Haath Se Haat Jodo Abhiyan’ across the country from January 26 onwards. The party had said the two-month campaign will be a clear follow up of the Bharat Jodo Yatra.
