BRS to take historic pro-people decisions of Telangana Govt to the masses

Hyderabad, Aug 1 (Agency) Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) Working President and Minister K Tarakarama Rao (KTR) on Tuesday urged party cadre to disseminate the remarkable pro-people decisions implemented by the state government under the leadership of Chief Minister K Chandrasekhara Rao. In a teleconference meeting, KTR directed party MPs, MLAs, MLCs, party general secretaries and district party presidents to ensure that the benevolent decisions, which are unprecedented in the country’s history, reach their respective communities, a release said. Among the noteworthy decisions taken by the Telangana state government, KTR highlighted the recent recognition of 21,000 Village Revenue Assistants (VRAs) as government employees, along with the inclusion of all RTC employees under the government’s purview. Emphasizing the humane approach of the government towards its employees, KTR called for celebrations with RTC workers at all bus depots across the state. Additionally, KTR advised MLAs and constituency in-charges to hold special meetings with the families of VRAs and RTC workers.

He praised the government’s compassionate decision to bring all orphans in the state under a single policy and take full responsibility for their well-being. KTR also recommended that the BRS party publicize the government’s decision to expand the existing 70 km metro to 415 km in the state capital. He urged local party cadres to organize large-scale celebrations, especially in constituencies where the metro will be available after expansion, as it would bolster Hyderabad’s public transport system and foster positive development prospects for the city and its outskirts. Moreover, KTR expressed confidence in the effectiveness of the state government’s immediate aid of Rs 500 crore rupees for those affected by heavy rains across the state, assuring that it would be beneficial to the people. To ensure public awareness of the government’s decisions, the BRS party announced plans to hold media conferences in district and constituency centers, aiming to effectively communicate the administration’s ideas and actions to the general public, the release added.
