Bommai ‘backs’ Cong leader’s loot remark

Bengaluru, July 22 (Representative) Taking a jibe at Congress leader KR Ramesh Kumar over his “loot” comment, Karnataka Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai said the senior leader has told the truth.”He (Ramesh Kumar) is a senior, he is well experienced, we have immense respect for him. We keep listening to him in the Assembly. He generally speaks the facts. I believe that he had spoken the truth,” he told reporters here. On Thursday, Kumar had said that it was time for the Congress leaders who had made enough in the name of the Nehru-Gandhi family should come forward to help them.”We have made enough for 3-4 generations in the name of Jawaharlal Nehru, Indira Gandhi and Sonia Gandhi.

In Bengaluru, a car was allegedly set ablaze by the protestors.Sonia appeared before the Enforcement Directorate (ED) in Delhi in connection with the alleged financial irregularities in the Congress-promoted Young Indian Private Limited, which owns the National Herald newspaper.
