Hyderabad, Aug 30 (Representative) Bandi Sanjay Kumar, BJP National General Secretary and Member of Parliament, exuded confidence in the party’s prospects, stating that the BJP is poised to triumph whenever elections are held in Telangana.Addressing the media on the occasion of Dr. Chennamaneni Vikas and Chennamaneni Deepa’s formal induction into the BJP at the party’s state headquarters on Wednesday afternoon, Sanjay remarked that public discontent with KCR’s administration is palpable, as evidenced by the ongoing agitations in the state. Sanjay criticised the KCR government’s response to democratic protests by thousands of unemployed individuals seeking teacher appointments and condemned the use of force against ANMs. He highlighted Dr Vikas and Deepa’s commitment to social service through their trust and emphasised their alignment with the BJP’s principles. Praising the dedication of the Vikas family to the party, Sanjay underlined their consistent support for both the party and its activists. Sanjay declared the BJP’s confidence in securing victories in both assembly constituencies of Rajanna Sirisilla and emphasised the imminent emergence of “Rama Rajyam” in Telangana under the leadership of Kishan Reddy.Drawing attention to the dissatisfaction with KCR’s governance, Sanjay criticised the government’s handling of protests demanding teacher appointments and ANM regularisation.
Responding to queries about the BJP’s presence in Khammam, he cited the party’s meeting success as evidence of its strength while cautioning against Congress’ attempts to create misconceptions about the relationship between BRS and the BJP. Sanjay portrayed the BJP as the sole contender capable of challenging the KCR family’s influence and asserted that the party is the harbinger of positive change for the impoverished segments of society. He applauded the Modi government’s decision to alleviate the financial burden of gas price hikes, especially for Ujjwala gas connections, and praised the closure of unproductive gas plants. Union Minister and State Party President G. Kishan Reddy formally welcomed Dr Vikas and Deepa into the party by draping them with scarves. In addition to Kishan Reddy, National President of OBC Morcha, Rajya Sabha members Dr. K. Lakshman, MP Dharmapuri Aravind, State Secretaries Dr. Prakash Reddy and Umarani, Spokesperson NV Subash, and District Presidents Pratapa Ramakrishna and Satyanarayana of Rajanna Sirisilla and Jagityal were present at the event.
