New Delhi, Dec 16 (Agency) The Delhi Unit of BJP on Friday staged a protest outside the Pakistan embassy here, over its Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto’s objectionable remarks against Prime Minister Narendra Modi at UNSC. Scores of party workers and senior leaders holding banners, placards under the leadership of its working president Virendra Sachdeva held a protest outside the embassy, demanding Butto’s apology. “We condemned the statement of the Pakistan Minister at UNSC.
Bilawal Bhutto should apologize for his remarks” said Sachdeva while addressing the party workers. Meanwhile, reacting to the Bhutto’s statement, Union Minister Anurag Thakur said, ” This is not the first time that a minister of a country which is hub of terror activities made such remarks. He make these remarks only to try distract the world from terror activities which is going inside their country”. Bhutto’s derogatory remarks came after a day after external affairs minister S Jaishankar slammed Pakistan at the UN for supporting terrorism. In his address at the United Nations Security Council, S Jaishankar said how Pakistan had hosted Osama Bin Laden and is sponsoring terror activities in India including the 2001 attack on the Indian parliament.
