Hyderabad, Oct 4 (Agency) Prakash Javadekar, the BJP Telangana Election In-Charge and former Union Minister, on Wednesday expressed confidence that the party will emerge victorious in the coming state assembly election. Addressing media here, Javadekar clarified that there is no alliance between the BJP and BRS, as evident from Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s remarks. He emphasized that when Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao (KCR) expressed his willingness to join the NDA, PM Modi declined the offer.
Javadekar highlighted that the Congress and BRS had previously contested elections together, noting that KCR had served as a Union Minister during the Congress regime, and several MLAs who were originally from the Congress had joined the BRS.He asserted that the Congress and BRS are essentially the same entity. Furthermore, due to his reluctance to join the NDA, KCR has refrained from extending a welcome to Prime Minister Modi during his visits to Telangana. Javadekar criticised BRS MLAs and leaders for what he perceives as exploitation of the state, affirming that the Bharatiya Janata Party is dedicated to fighting for the people of Telangana and is poised to secure victory in the upcoming elections.
