Mumbai, May 20 (Agency) MPCC president Nana Patole has said that the claims made by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi during demonetisation have been failed. In his statement issued last night after RBI decision to stop Rs 2000 note from circulation Mr Patole said that, by taking the decision of demonetisation, the Modi government had introduced a 2000 rupee note. At that time, the government had claimed that the net ban decision would end black money, but that did not happen. All the claims made by the Prime Minister during demonetisation have been failed, he said.
Instead, hundreds of people died in the queue, millions of small industries were closed, many lost their jobs and millions of people became unemployed. Now when the economy was recovering from this shock, the Modi government again stopped the 2000 rupee note from circulation. So now the question has arisen that if the 2000 note was to be discontinued, why was it brought into circulation, he asked. Mr Modi is acting like a capricious king, his decisions do not show that he has any knowledge of economy. No studies, no awareness of facts, no concern for consequences, taking decisions just because we feel like it shows the dictatorial attitude of the Prime Minister, added Mr Patole.
