Amit Shah arrives Hyderabad; offers prayer at Bhagyalakshmi temple

Hyderabad, Dec 28 (FN Agency) Union Home Minister Amit Shah, who arrived here to participate in the BJP state level meeting , offered prayers at Bhagyalakshmi Temple in the old city on Thursday. After arriving at the Shamshabad airport in the afternoon, Shah interacted with important leaders before performing pooja at Bhagyalaxmi temple, Charminar.Later, Shah proceeded to Sloka Convention Hall, located at Ibrahimpatnam (Ranga Reddy district), outskirts of the city to participate in the BJP state level meeting in the evening. This is Shah’s first visit to the state after the recently concluded Assembly polls in Telangana which gave “disappointing” results to the saffron party though it secured eight assembly seats compared to one seat in 2018 elections. “In the state-level meeting, Shah will review the party’s performance in the recent Assembly polls and also chalk out the roadmap for the upcoming Lok Sabha polls,” BJP sources said.

The issue of the BJP Legislature Party (BJPLP) leader may come up in the meeting.Shah will also be discussing the party’s preparation for Vikasit Bharat Sankalp Yatra 2023-24 and Ram temple consecration in Ayodhya, the sources said.At the state office-bearers’ meeting here, party leaders also discussed plans on taking devotees in special trains after January 22 to Ayodhya.G Kishan Reddy, BJP State President and Union Minister of Tourism, Culture Development of North Eastern Region will preside over the meeting. Dr K Laxman, MP, BJP OBC Morcha National President, BJP Parliamentary Board Member, Ms DK Aruna, BJP National Vice President, Bandi Sanjay Kumar, BJP National General Secretary, Tarun Chugh, BJP National General Secretary & BJP State Incharge, Sunil Bansal, BJP National General Secretary & BJP State Incharge, Prakash Javadekar, MP, BJP Assembly Election Incharge, Arvind Menon, BJP National Secretary & BJP State Co-Incharge and others will participate.
