AAP to carry out Padyatra across Delhi against BJP

New Delhi, April 24 (FN Agency) The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) will carry out padyatras in all wards of Delhi on Sunday against the alleged extortion by Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), AAP leader Durgesh Pathak announced on Saturday. Pathak, who is a senior leader and MCD in-charge from AAP today called upon the party cadre and appealed to them join the programme in large numbers. “AAP workers will educate the public about BJP’s rising hooliganism through the padyatra. AAP will consolidate cadres and team up with the people of Delhi against BJP’s extortion and thuggery,” he said. Pathak accused BJP leaders for threatening people to raze down their houses against the demand of money. “For the last two days, the BJP has started a new form of hooliganism in Delhi.

Every single BJP leader is barging into homes of innocent people and asking for money against the threat of the bulldozer. They have stooped so low that they want to demolish someone’s life savings,” he alleged. Pathak further said that the BJP is using local bodies which it governs to bully the residents of Delhi. “MCD can demolish every house built in Delhi if it wants and the Bharatiya Janata Party is taking advantage of this fact. The BJP has established this as a new method of doorstep corruption. The Aam Aadmi Party stands with the people of Delhi. Tomorrow on 24th April, our workers will work to educate the public by taking out padyatras in all the wards of Delhi. We will team up with the people of Delhi against BJP’s extortion and thuggery,” he added.
