New Delhi, Mar 9 (FN Representative) Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MLAs Atishi and Saurabh Bharadwaj on Thursday took oath as ministers in Delhi Cabinet. Delhi Lieutenant Governor VK Saxena administered the oath of office & secrecy to Saurabh Bharadwaj and Atishi as Ministers here. The newly inducted ministers, Atishi was given charge of education, PWD, Power and tourism departments, while Saurabh Bhardwaj was allotted health, urban development, water, Industries portfolios on Thursday.
Both the MLAs have been inducted as Cabinet ministers following the resignations of two ministers, Manish Sisodia and Satyendar Jain, after their arrest. Both Delhi Ministers, Sisodia and Jain, had resigned from the Cabinet last week. Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal congratulated to both the ministers and said that they would do good work. “Today, Saurabh Bhardwaj and Atishi took oath as ministers. The way Manish Sisodia and SatyendarJain did a good job. Similarly, both will do good work following their footsteps. Many congratulations to both,” Kejriwal said when addressing media persons.
