New Delhi, May 26 (Agency) Vinai Kumar Saxena on Thursday took oath as the new Lt Governor of Delhi. The ceremony was held at Raj Niwas where Saxena was administered the oath of office and secrecy by acting Chief Justice of the Delhi High Court, Vipin Sanghi.
Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, his Deputy Manish Sisodia, Delhi’s cabinet Ministers, several Union Ministers as well as MPs and MLAs from Delhi attended the event. Saxena, 64, has replaced Anil Baijal to become the 22nd administrator of Delhi. He earlier served as the chairperson of the Khadi and Village Industries Commission (KVIC).
