New Delhi, Dec 24 (FN Bureau) In view of the outbreak of Covid-19 virus in the countries of Japan, America, Republic of Korea, Brazil and China, as well as in the background of upcoming festivals in the country, instructions have been given to take necessary precautionary measures to prevent the outbreak of Covid-19 in the country. Also, the Indian Medical Association (IMA) has released information that four patients infected with the BF-7 type of Covid-19 virus found in China have been found in the country. In this background, according to the principle of “prevention is better than cure”, the district Collector and Chairman District Disaster Management Authority, Dr. Sachin Ombase has appealed to the people of Osmanabad district to follow the following measures to prevent the spread of Covid-19.
A mask should be worn over the nose and mouth while walking in public places. Avoid going to crowded places (like weddings, political, religious, social, cultural events etc.) Follow social distance. Individuals should maintain a distance of at least 6 feet (2 yards) from each other in public. Wash your hands regularly with soap and water or use sanitizer. International travel should be avoided. Fever, cough, cold, difficulty in breathing, diarrhea etc. In case of symptoms, visit the nearest hospital and consult a doctor immediately. Get vaccinated against Covid-19 immediately. Do not spit in public places. Always cover your nose and mouth with a clean handkerchief/hand folded at the elbows while coughing, sneezing and follow the Covid-19 Appropriate Behavior (C.A.B.).
