Dharamshala, May 10 (FN Agency) The deputy Chief minister Mukesh Agnihotri presided over the Miss Himachal and Himachal Excellence Award 2023 program organized by Divya Himachal Media Group at Sardar Shobha Singh Auditorium, Tanda last evening. The deputy Chief minister felicitated the Himachal Excellence Award and Miss Himachal 2023 winners and congratulated them.In his address, the deputy Chief minister said that it is important to preserve the values ??and dignity in the field of journalism. With its journalism, the media group has provided an excellent platform to the talents and daughters of the state, who have contributed significantly in different fields. He said that this kind of event also motivates those who excel in their field. The media group has also fulfilled its social responsibility very well by not keeping up with the news. On this occasion, the Industries and AYUSH Minister said in his address that the program organized by Divya Himachal is a commendable initiative through which the talents performing better in different fields are being honored. He said that the Media Group provides such a platform to our daughters which used to be organized in metropolitan cities. An event like Miss Himachal provides a golden opportunity to showcase the talents here. The deputy Chief minister awarded Himachal Excellence Award-2023 to the talents who have made remarkable contribution in various fields of the society. In the Excellence Award, Anpurna Sansthan in Best Non-Government Institution, Zonal Hospital Dharamshala, Best Hospital, Best Culture Patron, Virendra Sharma belonging to Hamirpur, Best Craftsman Kartar Singh Sonthale, Best Writer Sudarshan Vashisht, Best Farmer Nekram Sharma, Best Folk Singer Poonam Bhardwaj, Best Sportsperson Pushp Rana, Best Entrepreneur Varun Khattar, Best Education Institute Minerva Senior Secondary School and Best Administrator Suresh Kumar were felicitated. Deputy Chief Minister honoured Hitika Bali Who became Miss Himachal 2023 was awarded Rs 51,000, runner up Sakshi Rs 31,000 and second runner up Nainika Thakur was awarded Rs 21,000. Apart from this, the Deputy Chief Minister also honored the top 20 finalists of Miss Himachal 2023.Himachali folk singers AC Bhardwaj and Poonam Bhardwaj gave cultural presentations in the programme.Director Industries Rakesh Prajapati, Deputy Commissioner Kangra Dr. Nipun Jindal, Resident Editor Divya Himachal Sanjay Awasthi, Superintendent of Police Shalini Agnihotri, Chancellor Arani University Vivek Singh and other dignitaries were present on the occasion.
