Telangana CM embarks on foreign tour to attract investments

Hyderabad, July 3 (Agency) Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy left for a foreign tour to attract new investments to the state.He departed for the United States from Rajiv Gandhi International Airport (RGIA), Shamshabad, near here on Saturday morning. Accompanying him on the tour are IT and Industry Minister D Sridhar Babu and Chief Secretary Shanti Kumari. The team will visit New Jersey, Washington DC, New York, San Francisco, and Seoul, South Korea. According to official sources, on August 4, a gathering of Telangana expatriates living in New Jersey will kick off the journey. To talk about investment potential in Telangana, they will meet with members of business and commercial groups in New York on August 5 and 6.In addition, the team will meet with PepsiCo and HCA Computers representatives on August 6. Later that day, they will travel to Washington, DC, to have talks with representatives of the World Bank.

Meetings with business associations will be conducted in Dallas on August 7, and the Gandhi Memorial Center will be visited.On August 8, the Chief Minister will meet with Apple’s manufacturing team, TriNet’s CEO, and other business representatives. On August 9, there will be meetings with representatives from Google, Amazon, and other companies, followed by an evening meeting with expatriate Telangana residents in San Francisco. The team will subsequently leave San Francisco on August 10 for Seoul, arriving in the capital city of South Korea on August 11. They will meet with representatives from LG, Samsung, and other business organisations on August 12 and 13 to talk about potential investments.The team will leave Seoul at 2350 hours on August 13 and return to Hyderabad at 1050 hours on August 14.
