Kakinada, Apr 6 (FN Agency) District Collector J. Nivas has advised the students to participate in technical festivals with interest as they would inculcate creativity and innovative skills among them. Inaugurating the state-level technical and cultural festival’Samvid-2024 ‘organized by the Sanjiv College of Arts and Sciences at Suryakala Mandir here on Friday evening, the Collector said that students always should aim high about the future and participation in the technical festivals would help in improving their creativity and also develop leadership qualities. The Collector has referred to the ensuing general elections and stressed the need for every student to get themselves enrolled as a voter and exercise their franchise.
He said students play a pivotal role in strengthening democracy. Dr. VLV Subbareddy, CEO of Kelith Group, and Simakurty Rambabu Industrialists, who attended as guests of honor, spoke about employment avenues and entrepreneurship. College Director P. Sriram Sanjiv, who chaired the function, explained the importance of the technical and cultural festivals. The dance performances given by the students of Sanjiv College have enthralled the audience. Over one thousand students from various colleges in the district attended the festival. The TSN Sridhar coordinator has thanked the collector for attending the festival despite his busy schedule with election work.
