Mumbai, Oct 13 (Representative) The Maharashtra Cabinet, headed by Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, on Wednesday took a decision to establish the district and civil courts at various places in the state and also to fill up suitable posts at these places. Accordingly, courts will be created at Mangaon, Ramtek, Igatpuri, Belapur, Karjat, Wai, Yeola and Paranda. A district court (senior level) would be established at Mangaon in Alibaug of Raigad district with an estimated cost of Rs 1,11,31,000 and 20 posts have been approved there, a statement issued by Chief Minister’s Office said here. Another district and sessions court will be set up at Belapur in Navi Mumbai of Thane district at a cost of Rs 1,04,68,294, and also a civil court (senior level) at cost of Rs 93,93,998. For the district court, 19 regular posts of District Judge have been sanctioned and five posts through external system will be filled.
Whereas, 16 regular posts have been approved and four posts will be filled through external mechanism for the higher-level court. Also, a family court will be established at Belapur at cost of Rs 1,31,96,196, and 14 posts have been approved for this purpose. Another district and sessions court will be established at Yeola in Nashik district at a cost of Rs 1,05,57,706, and 25 posts have been sanctioned for this.Another district and sessions court will be established at Wai in Satara district at cost of Rs 1,03,53,220, and 24 posts will be created there. Similarly, civil court (senior level) will be established at Wai in Satara district and 20 posts have been sanctioned for this.
Another district and sessions court will be established at Paranda in Osmanabad district at Rs 1.46 crore, and 25 posts will be created for this. A civil court (senior level) will be set up at Karjat in Ahmednagar district at cost of Rs 1,23,57,834, and 19 posts will be filled for this. Another civil court (senior level) will be established at Ramtek in Nagpur district, and 14 regular posts and one post through external system will be filled there. Another civil court (senior level) will be set up at Igatpuri in Nashik district at an expenditure of Rs 98,83,724, and 20 posts have been sanctioned for this, added the statement.
