Ranchi, Aug 6 (FN Bureau) Acknowledging about initial difficulties being faced by women in accessing the Jharkhand Mukhyamantri Maanviyan Samman Yojana, Chief Minister Hemant Soren on Monday gave a direction to swiftly resolve the technical issues related to the scheme. In a post on X (formerly Twitter), he said that he has received information about initial difficulties being facedby women in accessing the scheme. “I have instructed for the swift resolution of the technical issues related to the scheme, and a meeting withsenior officials has also been held regarding this matter,” he said. He has also directed to increase the number of Pragya Kendras across the state in response to the enthusiasm surrounding the scheme. The Chief Minister said, “This is an ongoing scheme with no time limit to avail its benefits.”
He said that the special camps will be held until August 10 and then they will be given further extension ofanother five days, so that women will be able to access the scheme at their nearest Pragya Kendra at theirconvenience, he informed. Soren also warned about the presence of intermediaries taking advantage of the scheme, stating, “I want to inform everyone that the entire process of this scheme is free of charge, so beware of intermediaries.” He has instructed district administrations to act against any intermediaries. He also congratulated the women of Jharkhand on the launch of the Jharkhand Mukhyamantri Maanviyan Samman Yojana. “This scheme is for our women. The goal is to provide Rs 12,000 annually to lakhs of women in the state,” Soren added.
