Schemes are being made to strengthen rural landscape and economy

Daltonganj, Dec 10 (FN Agency) Chief Minister Hemant Soren on Friday said that strengthening of the rural landscape and economy is the top priority of the government for which by keeping all sections of the society at the centre including the poor, needy, tribals, scheduled castes, backward, minorities, women, elderly and youth plans are being made with complete homework and are being brought to the ground. Addressing the Divisional level ‘Apke Adhikar Apki Sarkar Apke Dwar’ programme cum mega asset distribution programme he said that these plans will decide the condition and direction of the villagers. He said that people are being allowed to earn their livelihood with honor and self-respect because due to this development will gain momentum in the state. The Chief Minister said that there are many such complex areas in Jharkhand, where the officials do not even visit in such a situation how the schemes of the government will reach there, it can be easily understood.

At the same time, people living in remote rural areas have to come to the block or district headquarters to take advantage of the schemes but, many difficulties arise in getting the work done here he said, adding that if their work is not done even in one or two attempts then they stop thinking of joining the schemes, therefore, Keeping this in mind, the program “Aapke Adhikar Aapke Sarkar Aapke Dwar” has been started as through this programme along with giving information about the schemes, people are also being linked to the schemes. He requested the people to ensure their cooperation and participation in the programme. He said that how people are coming to the camps being organized in Panchayats under the program is enough to tell that this programme is becoming very successful in the entire state. He said that about 1.5 lakh complaints have been received in the Palamu division. In this, about 1.30 lakh problems have been solved.

The Chief Minister said that the people living in rural areas neither have money at home nor in the bank, as their farm-barn and livestock are their capital, for this reason, the government has started many schemes for farmers and livestock farmers so that their income can increase and prosperity can come in the rural areas. He said that the entire world’s systems had come to a standstill due to the Corona epidemic. Jharkhand was no exception to this but the government did not allow calamity on life and livelihood even in corona and lockdown and made such a system where there was no chaos of any kind as even patients from other states got treatment here. At the same time, Jharkhand provided oxygen to the entire country he said, adding that there was a large-scale return of migrant labourers during the lockdown during, the Mahila Mandals provided free food to the people without worrying about their lives. He also said that the threat of corona is not over yet so people should remain careful and alert.
