Roadshow in Patna to attract larger pilgrims for Mahakumbh

Patna, Dec 13 (Representative) A massive roadshow was organised in Patna on Thursday to attract larger pilgrims from Bihar for Prayagraj Mahakumbh-2025 from January 13 to February 26. Roadshow was organised in Patna to inform people of Bihar about preparedness by Uttar Pradesh government for Prayagraj Mahakumbh-2025 which is expected to witness largest ever participation of 45 crores pilgrims in such event so far. Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises(MSME) Minister Rakesh Sachan and Minister of State for Transport Daya Shankar of Uttar Pradesh government also participated in roadshow. Sachan after roadshow told media persons here that massive preparations were being made to organise mega event of Mahakumbh 2025 from January 13 to February 26, 2025 to provide all sorts of comfort for pilgrims coming from all corners of the country and also across the globe. A total of 45 crores pilgrims were expected to arrive at Prayagraj for the event, he added. Uttar Pradesh Minister said that he had invited Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and Governor Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar to come to Prayagraj for Mahakumbh 2025.

It would be unique event of cultural legacy and spiritual feelings of people of the country, he added. “All arrangements for eco friendly, hygienic and better medical facilities will made for pilgrims”, Sachan said adding that three lakhs plantations had been done in area of Prayagraj where Mahakumbh would be organised. After Mahakumbh, Uttar Pradesh government would take care the protection of plants to keep the area green and eco friendly, he added. Sachan said that one hospital of 100 beds capacity and two hospitals of 20 beds and 8 beds each were being constructed for quality treatment facilities of pilgrims. Two Intensive Care Units (ICUs) of ten beds each would also be prepared for critical care of pilgrims in the event of emergency, he informed. “A total of 291 MBBS and specialists, 90 Ayurvedic and Unani and 182 staff nurses would be deployed to ensure round the clock availablity of doctors in these hospitals,” the Minister said adding that separate wards would be created for Males, Females and Children. Airdropping of flowers from Helicopters would be done at all 44 ghats in Mahakumbh area while use of latest technology like services of drones, CCTV cameras and Artificial Intelligence would be made to ensure safety and security of pilgrims, he informed.
