Hamirpur/Bilaspur (HP), Jan 17 (Agency) HP Minister of Health and Family Welfare Minister, Col Dhani Ram Shandil said on Monday that the main aim of the new state government is to provide better health care to the people of the state and in this direction, steps had already been started. He said this after he inspected the regional hospital of Bilaspur district today. He told reporters that the post of Medical Specialist lying vacant for many years in Bilaspur Regional Hospital will be filled soon. He said that AIIMS Bilaspur has just started partially and soon all health facilities will be made available in AIIMS, for which he will meet the Union Health Minister soon.
Responding to the decisions of denotifying various institutions opened by the previous government, he said that health institutions will be opened where necessary and for that the state government will make timely provisions of the budget so that there is no delay in any construction. He said that the Chief Minister’s Sukhashray Sahayata Kosh has been set up by the state government with an amount of Rs 101 crore to bring the underprivileged into the mainstream. Along with education, better health services will be made available to all the residents of the state through this scheme.On this occasion, Sub Divisional Officer Sadar Bilaspur Rameshwar Das, Medical Superintendent Sanjeev Kumar Verma along with the officers and employees of the hospital management were present.
