New Delhi, Sep 19 (Agency) “Jan Sunwai” an initiative of Delhi Police to redress grievances of common people, was organised by North Delhi Police on Saturday in its 5 Sub-Divisions and Deputy Commissioner of Police Office premises. During the “Jan Sunwai”, 40 complainants came for the redressal of their grievances regarding land and property. Around 17 complainants were heard in person, in which registration of cases were directed on 2 complaints and in other matters concerned Investigation Officers were directed to verify the facts and take legal action as per law on priority basis. During the hearing, a Legal consultant also guided the complainants about the legal aspect of the complaints, Anto Alphonse, DCP, north Delhi, said.
