Bhubaneswar, Jan 29 (FN Representative) Mahanadi Coalfields Limited (MCL), a subsidiary of Coal India Limited, had the honour of hosting the Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi at its exhibit in the “Utkarsh Odisha 2025”. The Prime Minister was received by Coal India Chairman Shri PM Prasad and MCL Chairman-cum-Managing Director Shri Uday A Kaole. During the visit, Shri Kaole briefed the Hon’ble PM about MCL’s significant contributions to inclusive growth and the company’s commitment to sustainable coal mining practices.

Prime Minister Modi expressed interest in Mahanadi Coalfields’ people-focused initiatives, particularly the involvement of women in the Mines Rescue Team.
