New Delhi, March 11 (Agency) Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday wrote a letter to Dehradun boy Anurag Ramola praising the art and ideas and “ideological maturity” of the Class 11 student. Anurag had written a letter to the Prime Minister apprising him about his views on topics related to national interest. He wrote that he draws inspiration from the Prime Minister not to lose patience even in adversity, the PMO said in a statement. Ramola was awarded the 2021 Prime Minister’s National Children’s Award for Art and Culture.
Impressed by Anurag’s thoughts, Modi wrote: “Your ideological maturity is reflected in your words in the letter and the theme chosen for the painting ‘Amrit Mahotsav of India’s Independence’. “I am glad that you have developed an understanding of issues related to national interest since adolescence and you are aware of your role in the development of the country as a responsible citizen,” he said. “The contribution of our younger generation is going to be crucial in building a strong and prosperous India in the years to come,” the Prime Minister added. The boy is a budding artist from Dehradun who has won more than 235 awards and honours at different levels. His artwork was also displayed in an Exhibition at Talkotora Stadium, Delhi, where he got the chance to explain his painting to Modi.
