PM Modi arrives in Odisha on a three-Day visit

Bhubaneswar, Nov 29 (Representative) Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived in Bhubaneswar on Friday on a three-day visit to Odisha to attend the All India DGP-IGP Conference. Modi received a warm welcome at Biju Patnaik International Airport, where he was greeted by state BJP leaders and Union Ministers Dharmendra Pradhan and Ashwini Vaishnaw during a public meeting near the airport. After addressing the public, Modi proceeded directly to the Raj Bhavan. Large crowds lined the roads from the airport to the Raj Bhavan, eager to catch a glimpse of the Prime Minister. In his speech, Modi criticized opposition parties, stating that those who have long considered power their birthright are now angry with the people. He accused them of conspiring against the nation and misleading the public, claiming their rejection over the past decade has driven them to take the country down the wrong path.

Following a brief stay at the Raj Bhavan, the Prime Minister will head to the BJP state headquarters for a closed-door meeting with party MLAs, MPs, and state leaders. The agenda includes a review of the party’s performance over the past six months and the implementation of various government schemes by the BJP-led state government. Modi is expected to spend over two hours at the BJP headquarters later in the evening for discussions on party matters and the performance of the new state government. He will stay overnight at the Raj Bhavan and attend the DGP-IGP Conference at Lok Seva Bhavan on November 30 and December 1.
