Over Rs 112 cr disbursed to over 13,000 patients in just 14 months in Maha: official

Mumbai, Sep 11 (Agenmcy) Special Task officer of Chief Minister’s Medical Aid Cell, Mangesh Chivte, said on Sunday that funds of Rs 112.12 crore had been disbursed to over 13,000 to needy patients in last 14 month in Maharashtra. In an official press statement issued here, he stated that the Chief Minister’s Medical Assistance Room has successfully saved the lives of thousands of patients in the state through excellent patient care.Indigent and needy patients are financed through the Chief Minister’s Medical Assistance Room for the painful and expensive surgeries, he said.

Keeping up with its consistent performance, the ward has disbursed a total financial assistance of Rs 112.12 crore to more than 13,000 poor-needy patients in just 14 months, it said. As soon as Eknath Shinde took charge of the post of Chief Minister, he immediately started the Chief Minister’s Medical Assistance Room, which was closed during the previous Maha Vikas Aghadi government.Now getting the Chief Minister’s Medical Assistance Fund even easier, people do not need to come to Mantralaya and can fill application form, CMMRF application, and get help, added Chivte.
