New industrial policy passed to open doors of investment in Jharkhand

Ranchi, Jul 6 (FN Agency) Chief Minister Hemant Soren on Tuesday said that the government has passed the new industrial policy which will open doors of investment in Jharkhand. Talking to reporters outside the project building he said that the new policy will help to open the doors of investment in Jharkhand in a better manner so that people can come forward for investment and business.

Over an issue of a woman being trapped outside for the last 12 years he said that it is unfortunate that for making a living people have been going outside the state and on several occasions they are forced due to compulsion to take such extreme steps to earn a living, however people outside are subjected to atrocities as the labour laws are not followed. The Chief Minister said that he had taken up the issue with the the central government and has also written letters to them over the issue.

He said that the government is making efforts to bring back those people who are trapped outside whether in Delhi or Bengaluru. He said that apart from bringing the people back home the government is also bringing those who have died outside. Regarding the appointment of new governor he said that he too has heard the news that a new governor is coming to the state. He said that the centre has given a new governor to Jarkhand and he too will have a role to play in giving a better direction to the state.
