Visakhapatnam, Jan 9 (Representative) Terming the Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, as a global leader who is applauded by the whole world, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu announced that he would move forward taking Modi as an inspiration.Addressing a huge public meeting after the Prime Minister inaugurated and laid the foundation for the developmental works in the State worth Rs 2,08,548 crore here on Wednesday, Chandrababu expressed happiness over the massive gathering for the programme. “For the first time I am experiencing such an auspicious occasion in my life. We have laid the foundation for Visakha railway zone which is the dream project of the people of North Andhra and the NTPC is investing Rs 1.85 lakh crore at Pudimadaka in the green hydrogen project,” the Chief Minister observed.
Maintaining that 52 acres had been allocated to the railway zone immediately after the TDP-led NDA came to power in the State, Chandrababu said the works of the project have been inaugurated with the blessings of the Prime Minister now.Giving the details of various other projects for which the Prime Minister laid the foundation, Chandrababu thanked him for inaugurating various projects by visiting the State for the first time after assuming charge as the Prime Minister for the third time. The Prime Minister has become closer to the people by undertaking various developmental works on a regular basis, Chandrababu said and added that Modi is a global leader, and the affection towards him is not confined to the North alone as is being mentioned by many leaders. “In the recent elections, Modi and the Jana Sena Chief, Pawan Kalyan, contested together and the people have given a record verdict with a 93 percent strike rate and 57 percent voting giving us 164 Assembly and 21 MP seats,” the Chief Minister noted. Making it clear that the same alliance will continue in the future too, Chandrababu Naidu said that the NDA’s victory in Haryana and Maharashtra is only because of Modi’s charishma. “Take it for granted that the NDA is coming to power in New Delhi too as it is all because of the style of functioning of Modi for the whole nation,” he remarked.
The people are always standing by Mr Modi as he strives hard for the welfare of the nation and is taking the country forward with slogans like development, reforms along with good governance, Mr Chandrababu said. Pointing out various welfare programmes being implemented by the Centre like PM KIsan Nidhi, Make-in-India, Skill India and Digital India, the Chief Minister expressed confidence that the country will acquire the second or even first position in the world in the economic system. This is possible only with none other than Modi, he remarked. Recalling that seven Mandals were merged with Andhra Pradesh on his request after the State bifurcation, Mr Chandrababu said that Modi sanctioned IIT, IIM, NIT, AIIMS, Tribal University and Central University to the State as promised during the bifurcation. Stating that the State is fulfilling the promises like the revision of pension and supply of free cooking gas cylinders, the Chief Minister said that Mega DSC will soon be announced.
