New Delhi, Sep 18 (Agency) The Ministry of External Affairs on Wednesday announced a flurry of ambassadorial postings including to Morocco, Albania, Democratic Republic of Congo, and Bolivia. Sanjay Rana (IFS: 1996), presently Ambassador of India to Bulgaria, has been appointed as the next Ambassador of India to the Kingdom of Morocco. He is expected to take up the assignment shortly, a statement said. Ravindra Prasad Jaiswal (IFS: 1999), presently Joint Secretary in the Ministry, has been appointed as the next Ambassador of India to the Republic of Albania. He is expected to take up the assignment shortly. V. Venkataraman (YOA: 2005), presently Minister, Embassy of India, Oslo has been appointed as the next Ambassador of India to the Democratic Republic of Congo.
He is expected to take up the assignment shortly. Rohitkumar R. Vadhwana (IFS: 2010), presently Deputy High Commissioner, High Commission of India, Nairobi has been appointed as the next Ambassador of India to the Plurinational State of Bolivia. He is expected to take up the assignment shortly. Earlier, the appointment of Swati Vijay Kulkarni (IFS:1995), presently Additional Secretary in the Ministry, as the next Ambassador to the People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria, was announced. She is expected to take up the assignment shortly. R. Ravindra (IFS:1999), presently Deputy Permanent Representative of India to the United Nations at New York, has been appointed as the next Ambassador of India to Iceland. He is expected to take up the assignment shortly. The appointment of former Election Commissioner Arun Goel (retd IAS) as the next Ambassador of India to the Republic of Croatia was also announced.
