Mumbai, Jan 23 (Agency) Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde on Monday inaugurated the All India e- governance regional conference here. Shinde congratulated the concerned department of central government and state government for organizing the conference on topic of e-governance. He said Information about the activities being implemented in the country on e-governance will be available in this conference. Shivaji Maharaj is known as a popular king as he was an excellent administrator.
The parliamentary system is a system introduced by the British government which has undergone many changes over time, Shinde said. The Chief Minister said public participation is the foundation of our present governance system and added administration is working with dynamic governance and public service at its core. We are starting e-governance from April 1. It will be useful for government work to be done at the speed expected by the people, he said. The compensation to the farmers is being deposited directly into their accounts, Shinde said.
There is an attempt to do more transparent work by surveying agriculture and land through drones. There will be a separate dashboard for people’s complaints, he said. The recruitment process will be done in a transparent manner for the recruitment of various posts. E-Governance is a useful initiative in order to provide services to the masses with the main objective of good governance. It is being widely implemented across the country under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The mantra of Maximum Governance Minimum Government has been given by Modi. The Prime Minister brought the country’s significant participation at the global level, he said. The presence of Maharashtra in the conference will be remarkable. A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for Rs 1.55 crore has been signed.
