India will become exporter of energy under Modi-Yogi’s leadership: Gadkari

Deoria (UP), June 12 (Agency) Union Road, Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari on Monday said that the manner in which efforts were being made on the alternatives of energy in the country under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and under the leadership of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath in Uttar Pradesh India will become an exporter of energy goals in the coming years. Gadkari was addressing the foundation stone laying ceremony of five major road projects of the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) worth Rs 6,215 crore at Deoria. He said that the fate of ‘Annadata’ farmer will change when he would also become energy provider. “Only farmers will fulfill the dream of making this country an economic super power of the world. CM Yogi, who is continuously developing the state, is working seriously in this direction with this thought,” he said.

The Union Minister said that there is a need to lay more emphasis on ethanol production to strengthen the economic condition of the country. “The country imports diesel, petrol and gas worth Rs 16 lakh crore. If the production of ethanol increases, the import will decrease and the money going abroad will go to the farmers homes. There is a need of 1,000 crore litres of ethanol in the country while the production is only 500 crore litres,” he said. He said that hydrogen is the future of the energy sector. My intention is that under the leadership of Yogi, UP should become the first state to make hydrogen energy because Yogi knows how to create wealth from waste. Hydrogen can be made from garbage, from dirty water and from bagasse. UP is fortunate that it has no dearth of land and water,” he said. Gadkari said that the picture of the country is changing under the leadership of PM Modi. “We all work for the country and its people under the PM’s leadership. We have only one thought, whether we live or not, but the glory of the motherland should remain immortal,” he said. Praising the CM, he once again reminded Shrimad Bhagwat Geeta’s verse ‘Yada Yada Hi Dharmasya’ and said that Yogi has finished Gundaraj from UP. “Due to the strictness he adopted in law and order, the evil power has been defeated,” he said. The Union Minister said that he talks about electric vehicles, air-powered, water-powered buses. “I also make it clear that these things are not in the air, but whatever I say, I will do it on the sting. All I need is your blessings,” he said.
