India has emerged stronger under PM Modi: Anurag Thakur

Hamirpur (HP), April 10 (Representative) Union Information-cum-Broadcasting Minister, Anurag Thakur said on Sunday that India had become an example of development in the whole world today and also emerged stronger under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. “Prime Minister Modi has shown strong and visionary leadership by providing free rations for two and a half years to about 800 million people in the Corona crisis, applying more than 180 crore doses of the anti-corona vaccine, and bringing back thousands of Indian students who were in the Ukraine crisis”, Thakur said while performing foundation stones and inaugurating the projects worth forty crore rupees in Sujanpur assembly constituency of the district today. He performed Bhoomi Pujan for the strengthening work of Kot-Chauri-Sujanpur road to be done at a cost of about Rs 33 crore from Central Road Fund at Chauri and also laid the foundation stone of Chief Minister Lok Bhavan to be constructed at a cost of about Rs 45 lakh in Gram Panchayat Panoh.

Union Minister inaugurated Krishna Dham built at a cost of about 60 lakh rupees in Gram Panchayat Tihra and participated in the birthday program of former Chief Minister Prem Kumar Dhumal. While extending Ram Navami greetings to the huge gathering on the occasion, Anurag Singh Thakur said that many new dimensions of development were being established in the Sujanpur assembly constituency. On the auspicious occasion of Ram Navami, development works worth more than Rs 40 crore has been inaugurated and foundation stones have been laid in the area. Due to the ongoing development works on a large scale in various gram panchayats of the region, the panchayats here were becoming a model for other Panchayati raj institutions of the state. The Union Minister said that these works should be given wide publicity to motivate other Panchayats as well. He gave a clarion call to the people to rally behind the bJP that was their benefactor.

He said that it was under the BJP rule that the state had developed to the best satisfaction of the people and would continue to do the same in the coming times also. Thakur hits out at the Congress party and the AAP leaders for making various false accusations against the BJP. He said that both parties had no future and they would be wiped out from the political scenario of the state after the coming Vidhan Sabha elections in which the BJP would achieve the Mission repeat 2022 with the blessing of the people. Thanking everyone on this occasion, former HP Chief Minister, Prem Kumar Dhumal said that he will always be indebted for this affection to the people of the state in general and Sujanpur in particular. He said that he might not be able to fully repay this debt of public affection, but he will remember this immense public affection for life and will continue to contribute as much as possible for the benefit of all the people.

Referring to the development of the Sujanpur assembly constituency, Dhumal said that he had allotted the Dhaula siddh hydroelectric project during his tenure as Chief Minister, but it was stopped after the change of power. Now after the foundation stone was laid by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the way has been cleared for the construction of this project. The state government has approved the divisional offices of Jalshakti and the Electricity Board for Sujanpur. Dhumal also appreciated BDO Nishant Sharma for giving a fillip to the ongoing development works in various gram panchayats of the Sujanpur development block. HP Panchayati Raj, Agriculture, Animal, and Fisheries Minister Virendra Kanwar said that the former Chief Minister has contributed a lot to the all-around development of the state and upliftment of every section of the society. Virendra Kanwar said that the development of rural areas of the state was being emphasized through MNREGA convergence. In this, the Gram Panchayat Tihra and Dadla of the Sujanpur development block have set an example.
