‘Embrace Your Potential as Leaders,’ says Air Chief Marshal V R Chaudhari

Hyderabad, July 21 (Representative) Air Chief Marshal V R Chaudhari emphasised the importance of embracing one’s potential as a leader while speaking as the chief guest at the Centenary Investiture Ceremony of The Hyderabad Public School (HPS), Begumpet, on Friday. He encouraged the students to be compassionate, ethical, and visionary leaders, constantly seeking knowledge and refining their leadership abilities. As the guest of honour, Lord Karan Bilimoria, a Member of the House of Lords and an alumnus of the institution, spoke about true leadership being rooted in empowering others and striving for positive change. He urged the students to lead with integrity, empathy, and a vision that transcends individual ambitions. Dr Skand Bali, the Principal of The Hyderabad Public School, expressed his privilege in having the Air Chief Marshal and Lord Karan Bilimoria as guests for the Investiture Ceremony. He believed that their remarkable achievements and commitment to leadership would inspire the students to aim high. During the ceremony, various leadership positions were conferred upon deserving students, including the Student Council, House Captains, Prefects, and other important roles.

These positions empower students to lead by example, represent their peers, and contribute positively to the school community. The Chief Guest inspected the student troops of 152 NCC Cadets from the Army, Navy, Air Force, and Girls wings before walking through a corridor with the Prefects troop and the Colour Party. The Investiture Ceremony at The Hyderabad Public School is more than just a title-conferring event; it serves as an opportunity to inspire and nurture the future leaders of society. The head boy and head girl shared their experiences and expressed gratitude to the teachers, parents, and management during the ceremony. The ceremony also acknowledged and appreciated the achievements, talents, contributions, and commitment of the students to the school, motivating them to continue excelling and setting higher standards for themselves, a release here said.
