New Delhi, Aug 27 (FN Agency) External Affairs Minister and visiting Brazilian Foreign Minister Mauro Vieira co-chaired the Ninth Joint Commission Meeting during which they discussed bilateral matters, and EAM reiterated India’s continued support to Brazil’s G20 presidency. In a post on X, the EAM said: “Co-chaired a fruitful and comprehensive meeting of the 9th India-Brazil Joint Commission with FM Mauro Vieira.
“Took stock of our bilateral ties, including our cooperation in trade, defence, energy & biofuels, health, sustainable agriculture, space, connectivity, technology and furthering business linkages. “Also exchanged views on global geopolitical developments, the shared concerns and aspirations of the Global South, and advancing our engagement in BRICS, IBSA, G20 and the UN. Reiterated India’s continued support to Brazil’s G20 presidency.”
