New Delhi, Oct 26 (FN Agency) Impressed with the state of education in the national capital, Minister of State (MoS) at Maharashtra Government Sanjay Bansode said on Tuesday that the Delhi model of education will be adopted in Maharashtra as well, office of Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia said. The statement came after Bansode visited two Delhi government-run schools, Kautilya Government Sarvodaya Bal Vidyalaya and School of Excellence. “He spoke with the children there and learned about the Business Blasters program. During his visit, he was also introduced to the Deshbhakti Curriculum and the model of the School of Specialized Education. On this occasion, Sanjay Bansode said that he was extremely impressed after meeting the students of government schools of Delhi,” a release shared by Delhi government read. Bansode said that the Maharashtra Government would also adopt the education model of Delhi in the state.
Deputy Chief Minister and Education Minister Manish Sisodia said that the Delhi Government is ready to support the Maharashtra Government to improve the public education system, it added. Sisodia added that a change can be brought into the education system of the country by learning from each other and working together. Bansode told Sisodia that he was asked by NCP chief Sharad Pawar to visit the Delhi government schools, learn from their education model and emulate the same in Maharashtra, according to the statement issued by the Deputy CM office. The release also mentioned that Maharashtra MoS showed deep interest in understanding the model of School of Specialized Excellence, a one-of-a-kind school launched by the Delhi Government. He was very impressed to see the model of specialised domain-based school, it added. Sanjay Bansode also was introduced to the Deshbhakti Curriculum recently started by the Delhi Government. “He understood the design of the Business Blasters program started in Delhi government schools under the Entrepreneurship Mindset Curriculum. He discussed with the children involved in the project about the enterprises that the children have started with the seed money given by the government,” according to the Delhi Government release.
