Mumbai, Oct 26 (FN Bureau) Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar on Wednesday directed senior officials to complete ongoing, in progress and proposed infrastructure developmental works in the state as per planned schedule for benefit of citizens. Presiding over a meeting of Deputy Chief Minister’s Project Control Room at Mantralaya here, he said that to speed up the work of Pune Metro No 3 and the District & Sessions Court at Shivajinagar, a tripartite agreement should be signed between Tata Company and Metro.
He also granted them authority for sanctioning grade IV posts in a medical college being set up at Satara in west Maharashtra. He further said that funds required for setting up the Government Medical College at Usar, Alibaug should be sanctioned through supplementary demands in coming session. The Deputy Chief Minister also said that a separate meeting should be convened to speed up the Revas to Reddy Coastal highway, as it will boost tourism in Konkan. He gave an assurance to immediately make available funds for acquisition of land for Pune Outer Ring Road.
