Vijayawada, Apr 5 (Bureau) Andhra Pradesh Government has announced an ex-gratia of Rs.30 lakh each to the two families of martyred CRPF Jawans—Rowthu Jagadish and Sakhamuri Murali Krishna-who laid down their lives in the Bijapur encounter in Chhattisgarh. Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy offered his heartfelt condolences to the members of the bereaved families and prayed to God to give strength for the families to overcome the grief.
Meanwhile, Andhra Pradesh Governor Biswa Bhusan Harichandan condoled the death of CRPF Jawans. In a message here on Monday, he said “He salutes the sacrifices made by our brave jawans who had laid down their lives while fighting with Maoists in Chhattisgarh”. The Governor said that that it is sad to know that two jawans from Andhra Pradesh Rowthu Jagadish hails from Gajularega village in Vizianagaram district and Sakhamuri Muralikrishna of Gudipudi village in Guntur district were among the Jawans martyred in the encounter with the Maoists in Chhattisgarh. Mr Harichandan prayed for peace to martyred souls and offered condolences to members of bereaved families.
