New Delhi, Mar 23 (FN Agency) Supreme Court judge Justice Pankaj Mittal said on Saturday that religious or national issues have been resolved through arbitration in the country. Speaking at the Justice J. S. Verma Memorial Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) Competition organized by the Maharaja Agrasen Institute of Management Studies (MAIMS) here today, Justice Mittal said that now changes are taking place in the jurisdiction to suit Indianness. Justice is now being made accessible to the common people in their own language. He said that for the youth who intend to serve in the field of ADR, the coming time is a big opportunity, but for this, we need very dedicated legal professionals.
He appreciated the seven-day Law Fest organized by MEMS and said that here the youth are given opportunities to move forward in the field of law. On the communication between the lawyer and the judge in the court, he said that sometimes it happens in the hearing of the case that the lawyer crosses the limit. On this, he read Wasim Barelvi’s verse and said, ‘Kaun Si Baat Kab Kaise Kahi Jati Hai,Kahne Ka Saleeka ho to Har Baat Sunee Jati Hai’. Founder President of the Institute and Chancellor of Maharaja Agrasen University, Dr. Nand Kishore Garg, said that the students of Maharaja Agrasen Institute are participating in the national-level competition and are winning. He said that we see the whole world as one by following the mantra of Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam and harmony. Our institute is determined to carry forward this legacy for our future generations.
