FICCI Ladies Organisation (FLO) and YFLO (Young FICCI Ladies Organisation) on Thursday announced their annual initiative Hyderabad Business Awards. As many as 20 awards in 10 categories, including the male-dominated manufacturing sector will be presented besides 5 special awards, the organisation said in a release here. On the whole, 25 awards will be presented at a glittering awards function to be held in the city on January 7. Telangana IT and Industries Minister D. Sridhar Babu, will be the chief guest and will give away awards to the winners while Minister for Panchayat Raj Dr Dansari Anasuya (Seethakka), will be the special guest and Flo Pat national President Ms. Pinky Reddy will be the guest of honour. In a joint press conference in the city, Ritu Shah, Chairperson, of FLO Hyderabad, Heena Srivastava, Past Chairperson of FLO, Arti Shah, Chairperson, YFLO Hyderabad and Apurva, Past Chairperson of YFLO said Hyderabad Business Awards is an annual initiative of FLO Hyderabad Chapter instituted to recognise successful women-led businesses representing various industry sectors based in the State of Telangana.
We will honour innovation, excellence, best practices, impact, success, achievements and economic and social contribution of women entrepreneurs and companies captained and owned by women, they informed. We have seen abundant talent and excellence in the applicants who we have screened. The winners will be role models to many said Mahankali Srinivas Rao, CEO of T-Hub. The awards will be presented in categories like Social Enterprise/ Philanthropy, Sustainability, Education, Manufacturing, Healthcare, Wellness, Aesthetics and Beauty, Innovation and Technology, Art and culture and Service Industry, said Ritu shah. The Lifetime Achievement, a jury special award will be presented to a personality/ties who best represents achievement and longevity. The Award acknowledges the winner’s sustained achievements within the business community during a distinguished career, she said. Nominations for the Award are already invited and short-listed from Women-owned and Women-run organisations from Telangana that have set the benchmark for quality, innovation and excellence in business. Nominations were already invited from women promoters (min. 51% holding), she added. FLO has received 70 nominations. The jury will select the final winners
