UAE, OPEC reach compromise on base level oil output

Vienna, Jul 14 (Agency) The United Arab Emirates and the OPEC have reached a compromise on the oil output cut deal, and the UAE’s base level production will be increased to 3.65 million barrels per day, Bloomberg reported on Wednesday, citing sources. According to Boomberg, the new base for the UAE will apply from May 2022. The base level of oil production for the UAE is 3.168 million barrels per day at the moment, and the country insisted on raising it to 3.8 million. Sources also said that the OPEC + alliance will soon set a date for a new meeting, and the oil production cut deal itself will be extended until the end of 2022.
