Meghan Markle’s first Spotify podcast to release this summer

Washington, March 25 (Agency) Duchess of Sussex Meghan Markle’s first exclusive Spotify podcast series, called Archetypes, will be hitting the airwaves coming summer, Hollywood Reporter reported. It will examine the history behind the stereotyping of women. The series is being produced by Archewell Audio and Spotify’s Gimlet Media and will be hosted by the Duchess of Sussex.

Megan will be interviewing historians and experts to discover the history behind such stereotyping and talk to women whose own public perceptions have been shaped by these stereotypes. Megan Markle is also the executive producer of the show, along with Ben Browning, Archewell’s head of content; and Rebecca Sananes, Archewell’s head of audio, while Spotify’s Dawn Ostroff, Courtney Holt and Julie McNamara will serve as executive producers for the audio streamer. Announced in 2020 Archetypes will be the first podcast series released as part of Archewell Audio’s exclusive multiyear deal with Spotify.
