Don’t cross limits: Shehbaz to Imran

Islamabad, June 2 (FN Agency) Pakistan Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Thursday warned the former premiere Imran Khan over his remark that country would break into ‘three pieces’ and told him “don’t dare to cross limits”.Shehbaz said that Khan is making naked threats against Pakistan.”While I am in Turkey inking agreements, Imran Niazi is making naked threats against the country. If at all any proof was needed that Niazi is unfit for public office, his latest interview suffices. Do your politics but don’t dare to cross limits and talk about division of Pakistan,” the PM tweeted.Khan has received backlashes and condemnations following his remark on Wednesday that country will break into ‘three pieces’ if establishment does not take the right decision, according to Geo News. The PTI chairman made the comment while speaking to a private news channel in an interview on Wednesday.Khan said that the country is on the brink of “suicide” if “right decisions” are not made, as it might move towards default. “The actual problem here is of Pakistan and establishment. If the establishment does not take the right decision, then I will give it to you in writing that they will be destroyed, and the armed forces will be the first ones to be destroyed,” Geo News quoted Khan as speaking to the channel. He warned that once the Pakistan is destroyed, it will default, and the international world will ask the country to move towards denuclearisation — as Ukraine did in the 1990s, according to the report.

The PTI chairman received backlashes and was termed, ‘mentally ill’, ‘traitor’ following his comment.Federal Minister Mian Javed Latif termed Khan a ‘traitor’ and said that the ‘institutions’ should crush him, Geo News reported.Latif alleged that the PTI chairman has caused a loss to Pakistan by weakening its economy.”Attacks on the Centre in the name of sit-ins is equal to an armed campaign,” Latif said.Condemning Khan Pakistan Muslim League (N) leader Talal Chaudhry said, “only a mentally ill person could talk in such a way.””In the past, Khan said it is better to drop a nuclear bomb on Pakistan, he also asked people to start a civil disobedience movement and send money through hundi,” he said.”Now it’s time to take action against Imran. The Supreme Court has sought reports regarding the violation of its order in Azadi March, therefore I hope institutions will also play their role against him.”PML-N leader Asif Kirmani said the former Prime Minister wants to take revenge from the country after being ousted from the power.Pakistan Democratic Movement spokesperson Hafiz Hamdullah said “PTI itself will tear into pieces but Pakistan will exist always.””In the lust for power, Imran Khan is talking about Pakistan tearing into parts.
