‘The Parenting’ to have star studded cast

Los Angeles, March 17(FN Agency) Preparing for its upcoming film, New Line Cinema has put forward a star studded ensemble comprising of Brian Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Edie Falco and Dean Norris. All four have appeared in some of this century’s most acclaimed works such as Succession (Brian Cox), Friends (Lisa Kudrow), Breaking Bad (Dean Norris) and The Sopranos (Edie Falco). Helmed by Craig Johnson, “The Parenting” is a horror comedy which is written by Kent Sublette, the script centers on a young gay couple, Graham and Josh, who host a meeting of the parents weekend at a cozy rental house in the country. Things take a turn for the horrifying and comic when the new lodgers find it is already inhabited by a 400-year-old evil entity. As of now no release date has been given. Cox recently won a Screen Actors Guild Award and Golden Globe for his performances as Logan Roy in the HBO hit “Succession,” which aired its third season last year. A veteran film actor, he has had notable roles in “Coriolanus,” “Troy,” “The Bourne Supremacy,” “Rushmore,” “The 25th Hour” and “Adaptation”, “X2: X-Men United” Jason Bourne franchise , “Churchill” and “Pixels”.

Kudrow won an Emmy for her turn as Phoebe Buffay in NBC/Warner Bros TV’s Friends. The cast reunited last year for the long-awaited Friends Reunion on HBO Max. She currently stars in the Fox animated comedy Housebroken and recently starred in the Netflix series Space Force alongside Steve Carrell and John Malkovich, and the British comedy-drama series Feel Good alongside comedian Mae Martin. Falco starred in the HBO crime drama “The Sopranos” and “Nurse Jackie”, becoming the first woman to win an Emmy for best actress in both drama and comedy categories for her work. She has been nominated for a record 22 SAG awards and recently portrayed Hillary Clinton in the limited series “Impeachment”. She will next be seen in several of James Cameron’s Avatar sequels. Norris played Hank Schrader on the Emmy- and Golden Globe-winning series “Breaking Bad”, and is right now starring in the Chuck Lorre-produced CBS comedy series “The United States of Al” created by David Goetsch and Maria Ferrari. On the big screen, Norris is set to star in the upcoming film “El Tonto” written and directed by Charlie Day and featuring a cast that includes Falco, Travis Fimmel and Jason Sudeikis.
