‘The Kashmir Files’ is about sowing hatred: Lone

Srinagar, March 22 (Agency) Peoples Conference chairman Sajad Lone on Tuesday said the Vivek Agnihotri “The Kashmir Files” lone objective is not to show the “pain of Pandits, but is to sow seeds of hatred.” He said there is no doubt the Pandits have suffered. “Kashmiri Muslims have suffered 50 times more than Kashmiri Pandits. You cannot just document the pain of one community. “We are all in it together. I have lost my father to the bullets. Yesterday (Monday) in Budgam a civilian was killed… Everybody has suffered here. “And they have exaggerated (things in the movies). But yes they have suffered and the pain is there. We agree. But the objective of the movie is not to show the pain of Pandits, but is to sow seeds of hatred,” Lone said.

Lone said people like Aghnihotri would “drown this country in hatred”. “I appeal to Prime Minister Sahib to make (Vivek Aghinotri) Rajya Sabha member… “There is a new trend now that people like Anupam Kher sahib and he (Aginhotri) are desperate to go to Rajya Sabha. “They should be sent to Rajya Sabha, otherwise they will drown this country in hate…,” Lone told the media on the sidelines of a public rally in south Kashmir’s Kokernag town. He said in the 1990s the Muslims were as helpless as the Pandit community. District Development Council Anantnag member, Mohammad Saleem Parray joined the PC in Kokernag. He was welcomed into the fold by Lone.
